Rapid Lateral Flow Products

  • Maxim’s SARS-CoV-2 Rapid Antigen Diagnostic Test: In September 2020, Maxim announced the production and marketing of its new test, which uses lateral flow assay technology, by the end of 2020. The product is yet to be patented. Its availability in other countries, apart from the US, has not been publicly disclosed.
  • Apollo Medco’s COVID CleanPass: This lateral flow system tests the COVID-19 antigen. The product will be available in November 2020. The product’s availability in other countries, apart from the US, has not been publicly disclosed.
  • Aegea’s Lateral Flow COVID-19 Test: This product is still in development and its availability in other countries, apart from the US, has not been publicly disclosed.
  • Anteotech’s COVID-19/Flu A and B POC lateral flow tests: This product is in development and can detect COVID-19 antigen and Influenza A and B in 15 minutes. The product is expected to be available “in no more than 6–9 months subsequent clinical trials and regulatory approvals.” The product’s availability in other countries, apart from Australia, has not been publicly disclosed.
  • Axim’s Tru-19 Neutralizing Antibody Test: This is expected to be the “first COVID-19 rapid diagnostic test for measuring the levels of functional SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibodies in a lateral flow assay format.” The product’s availability in other countries, apart from the US, has not been publicly disclosed.
